Why choose this course?
The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) double degree equips you to navigate complex legal, social and technological challenges shaping society. By combining legal expertise with the critical and creative perspectives of the humanities and social sciences, you’ll develop a powerful skill set that supports ethical decision-making, persuasive communication and informed leadership.
Your arts studies will deepen your understanding of how technology, culture and society intersect, while law ensures you gain a comprehensive understanding of the Australian legal system and the core areas of law required for admission. Together, this combination prepares you not only for a legal career, but also for influential roles in policy, advocacy, governance, business and community leadership.
Real-world learning
Real-world experience is embedded across both degrees. In your arts studies, you’ll engage with community-based learning and applied projects that connect theory to real social challenges. These experiences are complemented by work integrated learning opportunities and internships that help you apply your skills in professional contexts.
The practical, hands-on approach to teaching continues in your law degree with opportunities for real legal experience. From placements in legal practices, research projects or community engagement, our programs are designed to bridge the gap between legal education and professional practice.
